PUNK NIGHT NEW YEARS EVE 2012

PUNK'S NOT DEAD!!!!
Punk was certainly alive and kicking heads on New Year's Eve (in the nicest
possible way of course!) An hilarious array of costumes and crazy hairdos
abounded on Monday night with an absolute cracker of a show put on by the
punked up "Roadtrippers" and the "Barefoot Belles" as well as an impromptu
performance by a few Lions' Den staff - Good on you man with the creepy
eyes! Congratulations to all the fantastic patrons that got into the punk
theme night and helped make this year's New Year's Eve one of the best ever.

Christmas Party and Col's 70th Birthday!!

Christmas cheer was everywhere on Friday night for the Lions Den
Hotel's community Christmas Party and Col's 70th Birthday! Also joining in
was the Wallaby Creek Festival crew who supplied all the nibbles and lollies
for the kids. The fabulous showmen "Clarky and the All Stars" were here to
entertain the crowd and put on an absolutely awesome show. We all enjoyed a
Chrissy feast of prawns, ham, chicken, salads and Christmas delights! Big
thanks to Clarky and the boys for their wonderful music and to the entire
Rossville/Helenvale/Bloomfield/Cooktown community for being such great
supporters of the LIONS DEN HOTEL - Merry Christmas all!!!!
